It has been a while since I have posted a baking or cooking post. So I thought I would post something I whipped up last Sunday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was an experiment recipe that came about because we were due for a food shop and I had a lot of odd foods hanging around from my birthday but nothing I could make a meal that went together. These were my ingredients: * 1 Sheet Just Roll Light Puff Pastry Sheet * 1 Yellow Bell Pepper * 3 Sticks of Celery * 1 Nob of Butter * 1 Sour Cream and Chive dip 1) Firstly I got the pastry out of the fridge and put it to one side, this makes it more manageable when you roll it out flat. 2) I chopped the pepper into small cubes and sliced the celery thinly. 3) I then cooked them in the butter until soft and added the cooked pepper and celery to the divided pastry. You can cut them smaller than this if you want. ...

Monday - Finding my Way Back to Blogging

------------------------------- Good Day All! It seems to have been almost an entire year since I last blogged. It has also seemed to have become a pattern of trying to commit to it and losing my energy to my mind due to mental health. I have spend a good while thinking about this blog and wishing I had the bandwidth to push myself to write and do what I enjoy. So these little blogs will possibly be a writing exercise to stretch and strengthen my ability to chat utter rubbish at you all. So to start and kick off the slow waining of the summer towards the autumn and the coming inspiration of the cosy days ahead. Here's a short run down of the big things that happened for me. A lot has happened over the past year! At the beginning of last year we ...

Cloud Zombie's Film Cupboard - The Punisher, Saving Private Ryan and A Million Ways to Die in The West

Here is the first post of my new series. I will be reviewing the films I watch (new and old), I have two large cupboards of films that are full to bursting and are very much in need of watching. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Punisher Special agent Frank Castle had it all: A loving family, a great life, and an adventurous job. But when his life is taken away from him by a ruthless criminal and his associates, Frank has become reborn. Now serving as judge, jury, and executioner, he's a new kind of vigilante out to wage a one man war against those who have done him wrong. - IMDB The Punisher (2004) I must say Thomas Jane plays this part to an incredible tea, he has the deep filled hatred, the anger and strength to play such a complex character. I was pleasantly surprised when I sat down to watch this film, I had only had a tiny bit of prior knowledge of The Puni...

Cloud Zombie's Film Cupboard - Pitch Perfect 3, Stargate, Home Alone, Eat Locals

And we're back in the game!! New year, new films, new reviews!! Not necessarily new films all the time, this is partially about getting through my collection backlog. My film cupboard has grown bigger and I now have a virtual one on Amazon Prime to contend with. Join me with the first of 2018's film cupboard review posts, happy new year! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pitch Perfect 3 Following their win at the world championship, the now separated Bellas reunite for one last singing competition at an overseas USO tour, but face a group who uses both instruments and voices. - IMDB The Bellas are back in their third and final film, this was long awaited for myself and my sister in law. The only thing I'm sad about is that I have to wait for it to come out on Streaming, DVD and Blu-ray. It's almost as hard as waiting for The Last Jedi! The third film follows ...
