I have been baking on my week off, this recipe resulted in left over chorizo burgers from when we had a barbeque. This was another experiment using the ingredients I had in the use, so please add your own additions to the recipe.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Ingredients:
* Just Roll Puff Pastry
* 2 Spicy Chorizo Pork Burgers (Tesco Finest)
*1 Yellow Pepper
* Milk
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Prep
1) Chop the pepper into small pieces.
2) Combine the pepper with the burger meat and what ever you want to add.
Yes I know my bowl has popcorn on it. |
3) set out your burger meat into a long sausage like shape or as close as you can get into the centre of the puff pastry sheet.
4) Fold over the sides so that they form a sausage roll like shape.
5) To help the sides stick together use a brush with a little milk and use it as a glue to seal everything in.
6) roll over the pastry so that the seal is on the bottom making sure it hasn't come undone.
7) Prick a few holes using a knife or a fork to help, this will help the meat cook inside.
8) Brush more milk on top so that the pastry will cook to an nice golden brown.

The Baking
9) Cook at 200 Degrees Celsius for 30 to 40 minutes depending on how reliable your oven is or adjust if you have a fan oven.
