Baking With Cloud Zombie - Apple Cider Cobbler

Yes more baking, I am on a roll at the moment!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Ingredients:
There are no measurements with this because it was all guess work, this recipe was an experiment. I'm sure there is a basic recipe for an Apple Cobbler that you could apply my additions to.

* Porridge Oats
* Plain Flour
* Light Brown Muscovado Sugar
* Butter
* Vanilla Extract
* Cider - I used Rekorderlig's Mango- Raspberry but you can choose your own.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Prep:

1) Mix the flour, oats, vanilla extract and melted butter together in  a large bowl until the mixture is combined. I also added a little sugar to the mix.
2) Chop your apples is the way you prefer for this kind of pudding and place them into an oven suitable disk or container.
3) Sprinkle a small amount of sugar over the apples.

4) This is the cider part! Add any cider you want, I used Rekorderlig - Mango and Raspberry cider. I poured it over the apples half way and stirred them so they would soak in the flavour.

5) I added the mixture in small lumps so that the filling would fuse with the mixture and take in the apple cider taste.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 The Baking:
6) I set the oven for about 190 and baked for 30 - 45 minutes (please check times with you oven, mine is not very good).
7) Leave to rest out of the oven once baked because it is extremely hot after coming out of the oven.

The Serving:

Serve after cooling for a few minutes with custard, ice cream or something to your choosing.
