Cloud Zombie's Film Cupboard - Pitch Perfect, Kingsman: The Secret Service

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of 'Cloud Zombie's Film Cupboard'.
This time I will be reviewing Pitch Perfect, Kingsman and .
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pitch Perfect
Beca, a freshman at Barden University, is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school's all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition. - IMDB
I have always been a fan of musical cinema and films that use the soundtrack to tell the story.
'Pitch perfect' is a great rise to the top film that brings the old style of acapella to the modern music.
This is a great stay in and cheer you up film and I hope the sequel is as good as the original.

I give this film: 9/10

Kingsman: The Secret Service

A spy organisation recruits an unrefined, but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. - IMDB
Kingsman combines posh and chavy in the best ways possible, I love how each reality are such opposites that they stand out like a sore thumb.
Eggsy is one of the best characters I have seen in a long time in film/tv, he represents modern life for most people in the UK. I love the fact that when people from other country's watch this they will not believe how real Eggsy's home life situation is, sadly it can be like that for a lot of people in the UK. Abusive step parents, gangs, domestic violence and more.
Eggsy sees a chance to change his life and his families forever, grabs onto it and fights for what he believes in even if it cost him his life.
Some parts of this film are very tongue in cheek, Samuel L Jackson's lispy bad guy will have you all in stitches. I recommend you see this in cinemas or if it passes you by, purchase it on DVD, Blu-ray and download. You will not regret watching this film.

I give this film: 10/10
