Happy Wednesday! Hello there! Welcome to another of my film review posts, sorry for the no-show last week but I only had one film to review (shocking I know!) and I had not written up the review yet. Priscilla is a larger than life film with some true heart. It has an actor in it that I never thought he had it in him but succeeded magically. Like the learned, rational fellow he is, he forces her to destroy all her magical charms and protective devices, and stop that foolishness. He isn't put off by her insistence that his professional rivals are working magic against him, and her protections are necessary to his career and life. - IMDB A rather creepy 1962 horror. Night of The Eagle is one of those classics from the older age of horror. The story is well written, it's well shot and love the suspense involved in the story telling. Janet Blair plays Tansy Taylor so well, she seemed very devoted to her role. The special effects were rather good also, they have a certain charm that films today don't have. I give

Cooking With Cloud Zombie - What do I Have In My Fridge - Savoury Pastries

It has been a while since I have posted a baking or cooking post. So I thought I would post something I whipped up last Sunday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was an experiment recipe that came about because we were due for a food shop and I had a lot of odd foods hanging around from my birthday but nothing I could make a meal that went together. These were my ingredients: * 1 Sheet Just Roll Light Puff Pastry Sheet * 1 Yellow Bell Pepper * 3 Sticks of Celery * 1 Nob of Butter * 1 Sour Cream and Chive dip 1) Firstly I got the pastry out of the fridge and put it to one side, this makes it more manageable when you roll it out flat. 2) I chopped the pepper into small cubes and sliced the celery thinly. 3) I then cooked them in the butter until soft and added the cooked pepper and celery to the divided pastry. You can cut them smaller than this if you want.

A Very Happy Wednesday! We are back with another film cupboard review post after quite a long while. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guardians of The Galaxy: Volume 2 Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage. - IMDB GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 (2017) I was blown away by the first Guardians of The Galaxy and I wanted to watch it again as soon as it finished the first time. The sequel is no different, if not better. The story is fantastic, the cast is brilliantly cast and I would have bought another ticket to watch it as soon as it had finished. Song of The Day - Wednesday - Snow-Way!

Happy Wednesday! Another day another work day... So after the last lot of snow that has thawed, I awake to another lot of snow this morning. Again not enough to stop the trains. I left Blake in bed while I slipped down the hill to the station and the train was basically on time. -- Thankfully I am off on Friday so I only have today and Thursday to contend with work and all to do with it. I've been looking forward to this long weekend for a while, I'm not sure what we are going to do but I do know that I don't have to be at work. -- On a cool note my latest article is out on Emotionally14.com , click the link to go have a read and then maybe take a look around the site. Song of The Day - Monday - The Beast From The East!

Happy Monday! A fairly chilly start to the week on this snowy Monday morning. As usual Southeastern rail are panicking at the thought of snow and then it actually happening. They were sending out messages last night about Monday evening, saying that everyone should finish their journeys home by 18:00. yeah that's not going to happen with me, I finish work at 18:00, even if I managed to leave earlier my train would not get me home by 18:00. -- The weekend consisted of films, gaming and avoiding the cold outside as much as possible. We did go out to a nearby shopping centre to buy a new computer chair as our one died a death a while ago now. I can now game, write and browse the interwebs in comfort. I also snagged some craft paper from The Range while I was there, this will be great for my junk journal. The Range is a bit like an everything shop, you can buy craft supplies, furniture of all verities, decorating supplies, garden stuff, pet supplies...etc. -- I did
